Q  When are your changeover days?

A  From the start of the School Easter Holidays until the end of September, our changeover days are Friday for Oak Apple, Bramble, Willow and Hazel Cottages and Saturday for Bryony Cottage and The Granary.

 

Q  What time can we arrive at Birchill Cottages?

A  Your cottage will be available from 4pm onwards. It takes several hours to thoroughly clean and prepare our cottages so please do not arrive earlier than 4pm. Arrivals after 7pm are by arrangement only.

 

Q  What time do we have to leave?

A  Please leave your cottage by 10am on the day of your departure.

 

Q  Do you allow dogs to stay at Birchill Cottages?

A  From the beginning of September until the end of June, well behaved dogs are welcome (by arrangement only) in Hazel Cottage. Please click here for more details. 

 

Q  Do you provide bed linen and towels?

We provide bed linen, although please remember to bring your own cot bedding with you. One bath sheet and one hand towel are provided for each guest, together with two tea towels and a kitchen hand towel. Please bring your own beach towels.

 

Q How do I arrange a supermarket delivery to Birchill Farm?

A  The three supermarkets that deliver regularly to Birchill Farm Cottages are Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose.

To arrange a delivery please sign in to your account in the normal way and enter our postcode (EX38 8NB) where there is the option to deliver to a different address. Select ‘Birchill Farm’ from the drop down menu. You can specify your cottage in the delivery notes box. If you are organising a delivery for your arrival day, it is important that you arrange for your delivery after 4pm when your cottage will be available to you. Please choose a time slot for after you expect to have arrived but if you are unexpectedly delayed then don’t worry, we will accept your delivery for you - assuming we’re onsite, of course! We tend to accept substitutions so if you would prefer us not to do this please make sure you have indicated that you do not want substitutions when arranging your delivery.
